XL RADIAL PISTON MOTORS

XL motors are of radial piston-cam configuration and provide the efficiencies and pressure capabilities typical of HTLS motor design. Used in variety of industries including, construction, defence, mining, brewing, offshore, food preparation, municipal, railway and forestry. Features include:

SMA HYDRAULIC MOTORS

SMA motors are able to satisfy the heaviest duty application. This is a radial piston/eccentric motor with a hydrostatically balanced rotating assembly. SMA is capable of withstanding high mechanical and hydraulic shock loads with standard, high power and industrial versions available.

The high-pressure capabilities mean that the motors are designed for 350 bar continuos and 490 bar intermittent pressures. This feature gives the option of using smaller displacement SMA motors at higher pressures to achieve required torque.  applications.

ecial seals combined with high-pressure capability mean the SMA range can operate at powers that cannot be rivaled by competitors similar motor frame sizes. This combines extended life with increased reliability. With its wide range of speed capabilities the SMA can be adapted for use in a wide range of hydraulic environments.

 

SMA offers high efficiencies with minimal no load pressure drop which mean that the

motors can be closely matched to application requirements with minimum amount of

fuss. Low loses within hydraulic systems results in better temperature control, without

the need of large coolers etc.

 

A wide range of output and gear mounting options, together with torque arm mounting,

gives great flexibility of the SMA design. The SMA can operate on a wide range of fluid
