Through the years, we’ve been diligent about this. By quietly, but systematically doing things not everyone can do, we’ve learnt to develop products so dependable our customers forget they’re even there.
They are small and compact, yet stand up to duty cycles in conditions that can be exacting and harsh. They’re able to operate continuously at high pressure, they will reduce your warranty costs, minimize service requirements, help make your equipment more reliable - and further your brand reputation.
The depth and breadth of our product line is another way we lead the industry, from pressure and flow control, solenoid and proportional valves, to standard line mount and sandwich assemblies, to complete packaged manifold systems.

Sun has pushed the envelope on cartridge design. And some say our results awakened the industry to possibilities. For proof, we need look no further than out floating style cartridge design.
The unique construction we’ve pioneered allows our valves to operate reliably at higher pressures and flow rates than other rigid cartridge designs the generous cavity porting areas allow much larger drilling diameters within the manifold body: more flow capacity less pressure drop.
The free-floating cartridge subassembly is forgiving of cavity manufacturing variances: no matter who machines the cavity, the cartridge works first time, every time. Plus, our design allows much higher installation torques, resulting in better cartridge retention and easier installation.
There are a few other things you should know, too. Sun valves are able to tolerate high operating pressure: up to 5000 psi, across the entire product line. Cartridge types are interchangeable, allowing you to optimize performance painlessly - even after the machine is in the field.
